Winding down, tying up ends!
Today was a relaxing day with the sewing group who are hard at it to complete at least two Uracas before I leave. Now the only thing I'm a bit worried about is that Sylvia is so dedicated to this that she may have forgotten my washing! Tomorrow is my last pair of knickers, and I'll put my shorts on as it's an informal day.
But I saw the toys on the line and I'm sure my washing has been dried. She insists on ironing things.

We had a break to go to visit Rafaela Herrera and see how the path was getting on. All is going well, with some help from the community.
We also checked out yesterday's pipework.
We noted that the tables
Peace and Hope brought were in one of the newly painted classrooms, which actually looked pretty tidy, such an improvement.
We have a group of 10 Polish people in the hostel. They are so loud and quite rude, there's no hope of sleeping whilst they're all gathered in the social area. Last night I slept for an hour and then woke up and decided to get up and write my blog. Some people have no social awareness at all. The following night they were noisy til past midnight, thank goodness they've gone as by thst time I really struggled to sleep at all. The result was a very lacklustre day, when i came back early and slept for a couple of hours. Mind you it has been really hot and it was an effort to put one foot in front of the other.
Patrick has been very kind and offered to put his engineering skills to use investigating the tanks in Rafaela Herrera and Las Pilas. The biggest problem is finding anyone with the knowledge of the infrastructure. So by process of elimination, the root cause of the problems is being revealed so as to make a plan to rectify it. The biggest problem with Rafaela Herrera is that the pipes go up hill, the other is that there are only a few jours water each day. And in Las Pilas water only every four days.
Tomorrow is Valentines Day. I described our celebrations to Marvin. He said in Nicaragua they just make babies! Well, my feet won't touch the ground as three schools have organised celebrations including a band parade!
