Impact and updates from the school

REPORT ON THE IMPACT OF TECHNOLOGICAL MEANS IN THE NER RAFAELA HERRERA.

We thank God for finding on our way Carolyn, the protagonist of our dreams and to all the people who have made it possible to overcome our education challenges  in our Rafaela Herrera Rural Education Centre.
Our educational centre is the headquarters of Interaction Learning Meetings where Knowledge, Experiences, and Educational Strategies are exchanged. Training is given to 52 teachers from 3 different educational centres each month so we can better transmit our knowledge to our students through the use of the DATAPROJECTOR, SOUND EQUIPMENT, AND COMPUTER We also provide meetings for parents with counselling topics.

Research is done on the different content for which we don’t have up to date books, in the different subjects taught.

We perform the different educational events commemorating the different festivals such as: Mother's day, child's day, father's day, teacher's day, when there are cultural activities, dancing songs etc.
The academic competitions of the different schools are carried out, using the technological equipment.

All this has been very important for us as the management of the school, since we feel hugeeconomic support and we can help the other educational centres that are part of our Rural Education Centre. And we lack the economic resources to pay for these services that are very important for the integral formation of the student. For all this we are grateful that God bless you today and always.

We have advanced by 90% in terms of the use of technology and communication through the use of e mail as well as we have been trained to provide workshops to improve the educational work of children's learning to guide the teacher.

Thank you for caring for our little children and being that mother for all of us, may God fill you with blessings today and always our dear friend and those who support you in such noble work.

Blessings for you and that great family that accompanies us in our journey for education.

Pedro Joaquim Chamorro school at their morning ceremony.  And I can spot a couple more children there that need a school, uniform!  But at least they are at school.

August 2018.  The children taking English lessons.  We have some books from a school library to sort to see if we can add to their resources.  Any simple children's books with words and illustrations will be helpful.

In September 2018, there is a national day of celebration which the school will host.  We will be supporting the school by paying for the costs of the gymnastics and band instructor, approximately £60 and refreshments for those present.  These are important cultural events.
