Christmas support
We had a most successful Christmas event at the Unitarian Chapel Billingshurst where we raised over £500. Santa was amazing although not very many children visited. We must publish pictures beforehand next year to attract interest. It was another great community event.
We had many donations of toys both before and at the event including a generous donation of new toys from a factory in Broadbridge Heath. The owner offered to pay a donation to cover the potential duties charges as well.
Christmas cards brought in further donations too. And we sold nearly all the cards we had printed.
I travel to Ometepe next week with approximately $6700, some of which is already committed for university fees, School funds, musical instruments. Discussions will take place on my arrival and priorities will be agreed for the remainder. Further electrical work is needed at Rafeala Herrera for one priority.
Teacher stationery and uniforms have been purchased and are awaiting along with many boxes of equipment.

And another batch of boxes was collected from my garage mid December.
My spare suitcase is packed to the brim and another couple of baby outfits were delivered today. Tomorrow the Rotary sign will be ready.
